Adelie Maternity has been created by Lisa O’Mullan, ex-international fashion buyer who wanted to create well cut maternity clothing to wear to the office or an occasion.
The concept behind Adelie is to offer stylish but timeless clothing made using high quality fabrics and fashionable design that can be worn during pregnancy, and after whilst breastfeeding and beyond.
Each item has a well constructed and discreet opening allowing convenient and easy breastfeeding access.
Lisa has got an eye for flattering silhouhettes and forward thinking fashion and this look captures an outfit worn by the Duchess of Sussex to the National Theatre recently:

The clothing is made from high quality fabrics. Much of the fabric used is MicroModal, an incredibly luxurious fabric which feels beautifully soft against your skin. It breathes extremely well and is lightweight. It is also crease resistant, shrink resistant, and unlikely to pill or fade making it look newer for longer. The fabric has terrific stretch recovery and will hold its shape long after your pregnancy.
Being environmentally conscious is an important part of Adelie. The MicroModal fabric is made from beech trees and is sustainably grown. The raw material is turned into fibre using an environmentally friendly process. Adelie are also extremely proud that all of the garments are designed and made in Britain.
Adelie Maternity is available in sizes 8 – 18 with prices starting at £59 adeliematernity.com
