Meet Natalie Ward, founder of Latched

When did you start your business?

I started Latched in Nov 2018 after the birth of my Daughter in January. The Collection started with 3 items that I needed to cater for my new mum breastfeeding life, I then found out I was pregnant and the collection grew. Now 2 years in I am so proud to continue to help women stay active throughout pregnancy and postpartum.

Who inspires you?

My children inspire me, their sense of adventure knows no bounds  and every hurdle or tumble they get straight back up and try again. It keeps me motivated to build a business that allows me the freedom to be there for them whilst supporting other mums.

What’s your top business tip for getting through the pandemic?

Just to take it one day at a time and focus on the things you can control. Time is finite so don’t waste it on things you cannot change.

How is your business adapting to change?

I am using every opportunity to review what I do and how I do it. Being a one-woman business means I can keep changing and improving at a faster pace than larger companies.

What are you looking forward to after the pandemic?

Getting back to face to face life. Being with friends and Family, plus new and expectant mums at shows and exhibitions.
