House of Bibs – Spanish inspired

Maria Barutell, founder of House of Bibs, was born in Spain, lived in over a dozen countries and has been a London resident for the past 5 years. Following the birth of her son, Maria tried to purchase baby items that brought back memories of her childhood in Spain, but she equally loved British fashion with its daring and quirky designs. It was hard to find the perfect item that was classical and yet contemporary, practical and yet elegant. House of Bibs seeks to bring together both styles; contemporary designs in beautiful timeless fabrics that combine practicality and fashion.

Their star product are the bandana dribble bibs, made with thin quality cotton that makes the bibs light and airy, perfect for delicate baby skins, they have a secret impermeable layer in between the cotton fabrics that assures mums their little ones chests will remain dry. All fabrics are OEKO TEX certified (tested for harmful substances and deemed babysafe), all press studs are nickel-free and the clips used on the dummy chains are certified and of excellent quality. The collection is designed in London and handmade in Spain, featuring bandana dribble bibs, matching dummy clips and cloth bags. Stars, Stripes, Flowers and Special Occasion models make up the collection.

This Autumn 2016 will see new lines to the collection; baby bibs (in beautiful prints with towel backing) with matching dribble bibs, dummy clips and cloth bags, impermeable toddler bibs and handmade cotton thread baby booties & ballerinas which launched at Bubble London – June 2016, is composed of a soft colour pallet of timeless
prints in natural fabrics that bring back childhood memories.
