1.When did you start your brand?
I had always wante to own my own business and after several ventures the opportunity arose to buy Room to Grow. In May 2012, I took over ownership and with the launch of a new logo, website and vision the Room to Grow brand was born. My background was in Sales & Marketing and I had a clear vision of where I wanted to take the brand. The shift in buying patterns of consumers to on-line was becoming more prevalent and the timing was right.
2. Who inspires you?
I am inspired by visionaries such as Richard Branson and his initial drive to succeed with Virgin Records. Women like Chrissie Rucker, founder of The White Company, whom through sheer determination have created a household brand.
3. What’s your top business tip?
Listen to others, a lot of people will give you a lot of advice and they mean well … but only you truly know your business ….. trust your instincts, you will know what’s right!
4. Where’s your favourite place?
At home, curled up on the sofa with my daughter watching a film together.
5. What would be your ideal weekend?
In Italy, on the Amalfi Coast, sitting in the sun with my family in a local restaurant, chatting and laughing whilst enjoying good food and wine.
